Izzy Glow is a ceramicist currently based in Waitsfield, Vermont. Working primarily with stoneware to create functional vessels, she draws inspiration from the vast collection of ancient vessels found in archaeological contexts. It is her belief that ceramics are often created in a response to the environment their maker currently exists in, and take many different forms-- be it for requisite function or pure aesthetic.
